Well, recently, after the suicide of my 29 year old niece… a funny (she could turn almost anything into a humorous story), zestful and feisty … yet complex, irritated, fearful. She and I were/are the two in the family who were vulnerable to stress, who aspired to balance truth ambition and self acceptance, yet felt/feel like failures because the tides of our moods had such demanding daily, monthy, yearly rhythms that it was/is hard to find the truth and and integrity of our aspirations and almost impossible to see self-acceptance as anything other than giving up life's marrow. Lately, in her honor, I say my full time is cultivating the invisible craziness like bonzai trees. Being crazy is my full time job. The darkness enveloped her and her talents. She fell off the cliff as she overextended herself trying to be everything to everyone. If anything, I retract from the world too much and too often. So, what am I trying to say? I don't know yet… other than I'd like meditate in a retreat for months in order to do my full time job well. To truly give the interior the time it needs and the attention it requires…. with the hope I may …with the aspiration I may eventually change jobs. From craziness to clarity equanamity and wisdom. ”
